      Sign-up has five short steps:

      • Account: your name, email and a password.
      • Profile: buyer type, your role, phone and office locations. Company name is optional.
      • Alerts: the revenue ranges, regions and inventory types you are looking for.

    2. Read a listing

What a listing shows depends on the plan the seller chose. Basic Service listings show a summary: annual fee range, office locations, primary debt type, what the owner wants to sell, and status. The agency's name and contact details are not shown.

Listings on the Seller Assistance or Seller Consultation plans show more of the company's information.

    3. Contact the seller

On the listing, click Inquire Now and send your name, email, phone, a preferred date and time, and a short message.

Messages are routed through Acquire Marketplace, so the owner's identity stays protected until you are introduced.

    4. Request the CIM

The CIM (Confidential Information Memorandum) is the seller's detailed summary of the business. Click Request CIM on the listing.

Your request shows as Pending, then Approved or Denied, on the listing. You will also see a notice on your Updates page.

    5. Request due diligence access

When you are ready to look deeper, click Request Due Diligence on the listing. It moves through the same Pending, Approved or Denied statuses.

    6. Keep track

      Where: Updates

      • Updates: notices about your requests and inquiries.
      • Schedule Call: pick a date, a time and a topic for a call.
      • My Profile: change your details.
    7. Making a deal

You and the seller do your own diligence and negotiate directly, with your own advisors. Fees, what you need to report, and the rules on taking a deal off the platform are in the Buyer Terms of Service.
